ALVECHURCH Ladies under 11s picked up some top tips when Birmingham City Women forward Claudia Walker popped by to hold a training session.
The club’s ladies’ section, which also consists of an adult team and under 15 squad, has become a sister club to top flight side Blues Women.
The under 11s team was formed in May 2018 by boss Mark Willow with fellow coach Dean Roach and in the side’s first season they had an even record despite only having ten players. They also won a tournament at Inkberrow.
The team is continuing to make good progress in the 2019/20 campaign, during which they have also signed new coach Chris Gavin.
