White Hart Wednesday and Saturday teams remain unbeaten

WHITE HART won the majority of their team matches last week in various leagues and are top of two of the divisions they compete in.

In Warwickshire & Worcestershire League Division Six, they completed the double over Romsley & Hunnington with a 239-158 home victory and had eight winning cards from Neil Laxton 21-3, Dave Kings 21-5, Kirk Wright 21-6, Stuart Rice 21-8, Sheila Humphreys 21-11, Ken Brown 21-14, Mike Estell 21-19 and captain Ian Humphreys 21-8.

White Hart also top Division Four of the Yardley Wood Wednesday Superleague after a 150-111 defeat of West Midlands Travel in which they had five winners – Gill Croft 21-7, Neil Laxton 21-1, Tim Hollingshead 21-8 and Matt Higgins and Dave Kings (both 21-16).

In Heart of England League Division One, White Hart A were second best to a strong Baldwin A home team who ran out 144-113 winners. Hart had three winners – Mick Perrins 21-9, Ken Brown 21-12 and Stephen Turner 21-18.




The B team are in second place in Division Four – one point behind Henley A – after a very easy 164-85 win over Hockley Heath B who could only field seven players.

Hart had six winning cards from Dave Edwards 21-1, Kirk Wright 21-3, Sheila Humphreys 21-10, Ray Richards 21-10, Brian Chatterley 21-19 and Anne Batchelor 21-16.


The Heart of England Over 60s A team were soundly beaten 118-55 on the difficult Ye Olde Knowle green in Division One as they had just captain Mike Estell (21-13) victorious.

White Hart B defeated Co-op A 115-71 with four winners – Gill Croft 21-6, Kirk Wright 21-7, Graham Arnott 21-7 and Mick Perrins 21-9.

In Northfield & District Sunday League Division Two, White Hart A proved too strong for visitors The Valley, beating them 157-107.

Captained by Mick Perrins, Hart had five winners – Tim Hollingshead 21-8, Paul Matthews 21-8, Tom Hawkes 21-8 and 21-14 cards from Mike Estell and Kirk Wright who recorded his fifth victory in six days for White Hart teams.
