WHITE HART B are now seven points clear at the top of Northfield & District League Division Four after a comfortable 154-124 home win over Weoley Castle B.

They had six winners – Neil Laxton 21-5, Sue Sugden 21-12, Anne Batchelor 21-14 and 21-17 cards for Sheila Humphreys, Gary Bennett and Gill Croft, who remains top of the division averages.

They now occupy third position, just one point outside the promotion places.

In Heart of England League Division One, White Hart A were soundly beaten at Woodbourne A and could not rescue any points from the tie.

Captain Matt Higgins (17) came closest to a win, with other double-figure scores from Ken Brown, Kirk Wright Mick Perrins and Paul Matthews.

The B team now lead Division Four by nine points from Henley B following an easy 157-103 win over local rivals Alcester B. Further victories for Graham Arnott 21-10 and Tom Hawkes 21-12 sealed the tie for them.

The B team booked their place in the second round of the Consolation Cup with a well earned 132-116 aggregate win over Co-op B after having to give their opponents a 30-shot start due to there being three divisions between the teams.

Kirk Wright halved their handicap deficit with a 21-6 win and the match was settled by wins for Mick Perrins 21-7, Ken Brown 21-9, Sheila Humphreys and Anne Batchelor 21-19.
