Top wrestling show set for Redditch return

Redditch Editorial 16th Nov, 2016   0

REDDITCH wrestling fans are in for a treat when the popular K-Star Wrestling show makes its third appearance in the town later this month.

The Mettis Aerospace Club (HDA) will be the venue for the Saturday, November 26 show and will host a fine pedigree of wrestlers who are eager to impress.

The UK’s Premier High Flyer, Mitch Storm, aka Mitchell Grubb of Lodge Park, will be in action in a tag team turmoil match for the KSW tag team titles with his partner Superstar Carlos, a 17-year professional from Birmingham.

Mitch is hoping to reclaim the titles with his team named Super Storm and is looking forward to performing in front of his friends and family.

Also in action will be K-Star regulars including 6ft 6in superhero titan Big Bad Brawler Daz Donaghan and KSW British champion The Tank, along with many more colourful characters.

Chokeslams, moonsaults and frogsplashes will all be on the agenda during what is an action-packed event for all the family.

K-Star Wrestling was founded 18 years ago this past October by former World of Sport wrestler Steve Logan, who was on ITV’s World of Sport many times, teaming with Big Daddy.

He also travelled to Canada where he trained at the Hart Dungeon with Stu Hart. Logan wrestled with and alongside Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart, British Bulldog and Fit Finlay among others.

Tickets for the Redditch show are £5 and available on the door or from the venue beforehand. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.45pm. Call the ticket hotline on 07974 658170.
