CHAMPIONS CBH Fasteners completed the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination season with a perfect record after easing to a 5-0 victory at Beoley Village on Sunday thanks to goals from Tom Wheatcroft (2), Dan Dugmore, Ben Thomas and Sean Parish.

CBH won all 22 league matches, scoring 111 goals and conceding only 22 in the process. They enjoyed similar success in the Keith Turner Cup as they won all five games and scored 15 goals whilst conceding just two.

The Studley Cup came to an exciting conclusion when South Redditch’s 6-2 win against VKL United proved enough to clinch glory, with South Redditch pipping Studley Lions on goal difference.

Sunday’s win came courtesy of goals from Adam Blake (2), Tom Fishwick (2), Garry Harvey and Jason Russell. Tom Powell and Tom Hunt scored for VKL.

Despite missing out on the trophy, the Lions did end their cup campaign with a 3-2 win at Norton Athletic thanks to goals from Matt Rowland, Stew Rowland and Laan David. On the mark for Norton were George Goodwin and Scott Baker.

Feckenham Sunday, fresh from last Tuesday’s 1-0 league win over Lodge Park, won the Bromsgrove Charity Minor Cup as they beat SSS Lions 4-1 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, 7pm) CBH Fasteners will chase more silverware when they play Harriers Trust in the Bromsgrove Charity Minor Cup final at Redditch United.
