REDDITCH’s Lloyd Glasspool has reached the second round of the Men’s doubles at Wimbledon.
Glasspool and Finnish partner Harri Heliƶvaara romped to a straight sets 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 win against Italian-French pairing Lorenzo Musetti and Hugo Gaston.
The pair are seeded 15th for the tournament having reached the quarter-finals at Roland Garros (French Open) last month where they were beaten in a tie-break.
And the duo reached the third round at Wimbledon last year after being handed a wildcard to enter the competition.
The 28-year-old has reached three ATP Tour finals this year including the Men’s doubles at Queens.
The pair will play either American-Norwegian duo William Blumberg and French Open runner-up Casper Ruud or Colombian-Mexican combo Nicolas Barrientos and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela in the second round.
