ST BEDE’S Catholic Middle School pupil Paulina Jurkowska will tread the hallowed turf of Wimbledon when she competes in the national finals of the Road to Wimbledon event.
Paulina won the girls’ event at the under 14s Road to Wimbledon County Finals at Manor Park in Malvern at the weekend, having triumphed in her club event the previous month.
The young ace, who booked her place in the county final without dropping a set and then clinched her spot at SW19 with a 6-1, 6-0 success, will now get the chance to compete at the All England Club in the county national finals which start on August 8.
