MEMBERS of Alcester and Bidford-based Strong Arms Running Club are looking back on a year to savour after the club recently celebrated its first anniversary.
Head coach Sharon Smith said: “Since the launch of the club in December 2014 the team of beginner to intermediate runners have taken part in numerous events, covered many miles and have achieved numerous personal bests.
“Some of the runners had not run over three miles and now they are running well over seven miles and for that I am really proud of their commitment to training and to the club.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to our clothing sponsor Ricor which is based in Studley.”
Due to high demand, a second session is now available in Astwood Bank on Thursday evenings between 7.30-8.30pm.
Adults of all abilities and children aged 12 and upwards are welcome.
