REDDITCH Golf Club ladies were triumphant in their Droitwich Inter-Club League (DICL) semi-final against Bewdley-based Wharton Park GC at Burghill Valley GC in Herefordshire.
This will be Redditch’s second successive final, to be played on Friday, September 22 against Burghill Valley GC at Fulford Heath (Wythall).
Congratulations to Redditch players Eileen Tolley, Ros Daws, Gill Dawson, Jenny Dalloway and especially Jeanette Palmer, who played 21 holes before securing the winning putt for her game and the match.
The DICL is run across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and currently 24 golf clubs take part. It is so called as Droitwich Golf Club started it.
