A PLAY-OFF will be required to determine the winner of Kings Norton Golf Club’s club trophy – The Gordon Ball Cup – which was played last Tuesday.
There were 107 entrants and the leading duo were Paul Lynskey and Michael Murphy with 42 points apiece. A play-off date is still to be arranged.
The Ladies’ Stableford was played last Thursday and Sunday and the Silver Division was won by Julie Samuels and Sheila Meads (34 points) and Bronze Division by Sandra Ianson (41 points).
The Ladies’ Millennium Vases were played last Thursday and the Silver Division winner was Sue Yau (nett 70) and Bronze Division Carole Donoghue (nett 77).
This coming Sunday an exciting occasion is in prospect in the shape of the Club Captain’s Day.
