MICK KEEN (13lb 5oz) netted top spot in a 14-strong Dark Lane AC match on the River Arrow at Alcester.
Pete Lewis was runner-up with 10lb 6oz, Keith Jones (9lb 12oz) was third, Dave Gibbs (3lb 2oz) fourth and Chris Cole (2lb 6oz) fifth.
THE NEEDLES AC pairs match took place the following day on the River Alne at Great Alne and the winners were Chris Cole and Andy Farmer.
John Rushworth and Pete Elms were second and Barry Blewett and Bob Dean third. Top individual weights were Cole (2lb 6oz), Rushworth (2lb 4oz) and Farmer (2lb 2oz).
