MICK KEEN was crowned the new River Alne Championship winner after topping a 55-strong field on Saturday.
The annual competition was fished from Great Alne to Alcester and Keen landed the biggest net of 9lb 6oz.
Richard Middleton was second with 6lb 7oz, Ian Owen third with 5lb 9oz and Rob Shreeves fourth with 4lb 11oz.
Section winners were Max Claridge (4lb 3oz), T Jelfs (3lb 10oz), Leon Blundle (3lb 9oz), Alan Elms (2lb 12oz), Phil O’Donnell (1lb 12o) and Jack Dean (1lb 7oz).
