SPORTING action of a different kind awaits at the Trico Stadium at the start of next month when an exciting boxing show takes centre stage.
The 2017 Redditch Boxing Championships take place at the home of Redditch United on Saturday, July 1.
Organisers expect to stage eight or nine fights, with doors opening at 2pm and bouts beginning at 3pm.
As well as stand up bingo and a raffle, there will be two bars and a cafe on site. Some of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
