ST BEDE’S Catholic Middle School pupil Ellie Pardy turned on the style to become the 38kg Intercontinental Muay Thai Championships winner.
The year eight youngster, representing Thaitans Martial Arts Academy of Redditch, secured a unanimous victory in the Barnsley final against a girl from Warriors gym in Ireland who was 3kg heavier than her.
A St Bede’s spokesperson said: “Ellie’s pure dedication to the sport and her will to learn and train hard has got her to this level.”
