A SEASON to savour for HDA Redditch Tennis Club was marked when their history-making teams were honoured at the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League annual presentation event.

The HDA A team won the Division Two title and the B and C sides claimed top spot in Division Four and Five respectively to become the first club in the history of the league to win three divisional titles in one season.

All divisional and cup winners were handed their awards. Stratford secured their 13th consecutive Premier Division title, Moreton-in-Marsh took the Division One crown and Snitterfield were victorious in Division Three.

In addition, there was a Fair Play Plate, voted on by the teams, in which there were joint winners in Bidford A from Division Four and Inkberrow D from Division Five.

Tim Page of Stratford received the Millennium Scroll as best administrator for 2015, HDA Juniors retained the Junior League Cup and Bidford were presented with the King Cup as Club of the Year.

The awards were presented by league chairman Tony Eskew, who congratulated all winning teams and in particular HDA Redditch and Bidford for their mutli-winning accomplishments during the 2015 season.

He also commended Stratford for their continuing success at the top of the Premier Division and in the Inter-League Charity Cup.
