HDA REDDITCH A (33 points) have a 12-point lead in Division One of the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League following their 4-0 victory over Ardencote B (19) who dropped to fifth after this result.

Alcester B (23) moved up to second spot after defeating equal fifth Littleton (19) 3-1, whilst Snitterfield are third with 21 points after celebrating a 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Whitnash (12).

Pershore (20) moved up to fourth place with a 3-1 success over bottom of Division One Studley B (10).

Champions Stratford have their biggest lead ever at this stage of the Premier Division season, although they surprisingly failed to take maximum points off bottom of the table Claverdon (6).

Stratford did, however, secure a 3-1 win to amass 36 points with four weeks of the season left.

Their nearest challengers are Evesham (23) whose game against Studley was rained off and Alcester (23) who dropped two points after they were held to a 2-2 draw by fourth placed Ardencote Manor (22).

Fifth placed Henley-in-Arden (17) defeated sixth placed Moreton-in-Marsh (14) 3-1.

The battle for the Division Two title and promotion continued between Chipping Campden A (33), Inkberrow A (32) and Stratford B (29).

Campden maintained their one-point lead over Inkberrow when they enjoyed a crucial 4-0 victory over third placed Stratford B.

Meanwhile, Inkberrow kept up the pressure with 4-0 battering of relegation-threatened Studley B (9).

Snitterfield B (17) changed places with Claverdon B (16) to claim fourth position after they beat Claverdon 3-1, whilst FISSC (12) kept out of the relegation places as they defeated bottom side Aston Cantlow (4) 3-1.

Division Three also sees three teams vying for the lead, all on 29 points, in the shape of Henley B who beat mid-table Inkberrow B (18) 3-1, Shipston A who overcame HDA Redditch B (14) 3-1 and Alcester C who were awarded a 4-0 walkover against Ilmington who failed to field a team.

However, the league is investigating Ilmington who appear to have pulled out of the competition, citing lack of player numbers. If so, their record will be expunged and the table amended with all Ilmington’s results declared void.

The match between the bottom two teams Inkberrow C (5) and Claverdon C (9) was postponed due to rain.

Pershore B are dominating Division Four with 33 points after enjoying a 3-1 victory over sixth placed Wildmoor Spa A (13).

In second place are Chipping Campden B (24) who are competing for the other promotion spot but their match against fifth placed HDA C Redditch (18) was rained off.

Third placed Warwick (23) took their opportunity to close the gap on Campden B to a solitary point when they beat bottom side Moreton-in-Marsh C (7) 3-1.

Fourth placed Moreton-in-Marsh B (22) were surprisingly held to a 2-2 draw by second bottom Littleton B (12).

In Division Five Bidford A (32) opened an eight-point lead by comfortably beating previously second placed Warwickshire County Council (23) 4-0.

Bidford B leapt back into second spot on 24 points with a 3-1 win at the expense of joint third Wildmoor Spa B (23).

Evesham B (23) joined Warwickshire County Council and Wildmoor Spa B in equal third place thanks to their 4-0 win over seventh placed HDA Redditch D (12).

Chipping Campden C (2) shocked Shipston B (12) with a surprising 4-0 success.
