Grubb eyeing Midlands glory on home show

Redditch Editorial 14th Nov, 2017 Updated: 14th Nov, 2017   0

REDDITCH wrestler Mitchell Grubb will be targeting becoming Midlands champion when K-Star Wrestling returns to the town next weekend.

Grubb, of Lodge Park, will feature alongside familiar KSW stars on the show at the HDA Mettis Aerospace Club on Saturday, November 25.

He has been wrestling since he was 16 years old and, now 21, he will be hoping the hours working in the gym in Redditch will reap their rewards in the championship bout.

Other K-Star regulars including the 6ft 6in, 21st Ginger Giant Daz Donaghan, the Undead Demon Rigour Mortis and the Deadly Diva Poison Envy plus many more colourful characters will be in action on what is always a great family night out.

KSW, formed 19 years ago by former World Of Sport wrestler Steve Logan, has run shows in Redditch since 2011 and has built up a keen following.

TIckets cost £6 and are available from Mettis Aerospace Sports & Social Club, Cherry Tree Walk, Batchley, or on the night. Doors open 7pm, with the show starting at 7.45pm.
