WORCESTER company SMH Fleet Solutions has stepped up to the tee to deliver the flagship sponsorship for a top European golf tournament at Redditch Golf Club.
The Lower Grinsty Lane club is hosting the Bridgestone Challenge Qualifier on Monday, May 22 – the third year running Redditch GC has been selected for this round.
The event is the qualifier for the European Challenge Tour Bridgestone Challenge event, which will this year be held at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa between September 7-10.
With locations including Worcester, Gloucester, Pershore, Bolton and Bedford, SMH’s comprehensive corporate vehicle support services are backed by a staff of more than 500, a bluechip client list and an annual turnover around £30m.
SMH director Graham Sinclair said: “It is a pleasure to be sponsoring this event. We are looking forward to witnessing some great golf and also to raising our profile in the area.

Entries for the qualifier, organised by BlackStar Sports, are welcomed from both professional and amateur golfers, who will be competing for just two places in the main event at Luton.
Redditch course chairman John Garey said: “Having successfully hosted this event over the last two years, we are looking forward to the challenge and are confident our great course will be in better shape than ever.
“This will also benefit our members, many of whom get involved in helping the event go smoothly by volunteering as marshals, starter and scorekeepers.”
