STUDLEY FC finished their season with a 2-1 win against Cheltenham Saracens in front of a big crowd on Easter Monday.
The champions were far from their best in the early morning clash with Dale Edwards coming closest to breaking the deadlock when he hit the post from 20-yards out.
However, The Bees eventually found a way through on 38 minutes when Alfie Bloomer volleyed home from 12-yards out to send the hosts into the break with a narrow lead.
A drab second half burst into life when Cheltenham equalised on 76 minutes through Luke Finch’s speculative effort that surprised everyone in the ground.
The home side snatched the points on 81 minutes when Mark Magee found the corner of the net following some quick feet from Dan Carter.
A Jubilant Studley side were then awarded the Hellenic League Division One trophy at the end of the game.
