CLUB captains Paul Wilkes and Laura Cranshaw represented Redditch Swimming Club in impressive fashion at the 16th LEN (Ligue Européenne de Natation) European Masters Championships in Kranj, Slovenia.
Competing in their second consecutive European Championships, the duo swam in the 30 to 34-year age group, racing against swimmers from across Europe in the six-day competition.
Wilkes captured a bronze medal in his favoured 200m butterfly event thanks to a fine display which ensured he has achieved a podium place in the last three successive international competitions.
Cranshaw then took to the pool to swim in the 100m breaststroke in which she battled against the elements along with her opponents in the outdoor Olympic-sized swimming pool and finished in fifth place in her age group.
In the final event of the competition, Wilkes set a new personal best time over the same distance in breaststroke as he finished seventh in a time of 1:09.67.
