REDDITCH siblings Madison and Ty Adkins won gold and silver medals respectively at the English Tae Kwon-Do Championships in Worcester.
Ty moved into the black belt boys’ heavyweight division, fighting older and heavier competitors, and won his first three fights before losing out in the fourth in extra time to a two-time heavyweight world champion. This earned Ty a silver medal.
Madison continued her success in the black belt girls’ middleweight division in which she had five fights and won gold to add the English title to the British crown she won in November.
Both are training hard under the guidance of instructor and world champion Jackson White getting ready for the Welsh Championships in May.
