THERE has been double delight for Inkberrow Eagles U16s who secured two league titles in the 2015/16 season.
The team, sponsored by Redditch-based funeral directors Thomas Brothers, won both the Saturday Ambassador Evesham Football League crown and the Sunday Central Warwickshire Youth Football League title, remaining unbeaten throughout the campaign in the latter.
Under the management of Mark Thomas and his assistant Glen Adams, the team also finished runners-up in the Worcestershire FA County Cup as they were beaten on penalties in the final by Bromsgrove Sporting.
The Eagles had numerous players representing Redditch United and Studley Youth in the Floodlit League and the Studley side finished third in the Premier Division.
Next season several of the players will play for Highgate United teams at U18 and U21 level.
