BOB DEAN topped a 13-strong field when Dark Lane AC members contested Saturday’s match on the River Arrow at Alcester.
Dean landed 9lb 7oz to win ahead of runner-up Barry Feldhahn (3lb 12oz) and third-placed Barry Blewett (3lb 9oz).
Keith Jones (3lb 1oz) was fourth, Chris Cole (1lb 12oz) fifth and Glyn Blewett (1lb 8oz) sixth.
Dean (6lb 12oz) then continued his fine form with another victory on the River Alne at Great Alne in Sunday’s Needles AC contest featuring 13 anglers.
Second was Andy Farmer (2lb 15oz), third Glyn Blewett (2lb 6oz) and section winners were Barry Blewett (1lb 1oz) and Bob Brazil (1lb).
