YOUNGSTER Dan Adams caught 1lb 9oz of small roach taken on the bread punch and pole to win the Alcester Trades AC match on Sunday.
There was a tie for second place as experienced Fred Walker and Bob Jones both netted 1lb 4oz.
PAUL CASWELL won the Throckmorton AC Thursday evening match on the River Arrow at Coughton with 19lb 7oz.
Second was Shawn Street with 18lb 12oz, third was Pete Lewis with 14lb and fourth was Mick Rippington with 11lb.
CASWELL also triumphed in Saturday’s Dark Lane AC contest on the River Arrow at Alcester with 22lb 2oz.
Runner-up was Tony Turner with 15lb, third was Lewis with 7lb 7oz and section winners were Steve Aspindale (6lb 10oz), Tony Lockett (2lb 3oz) and Graham Burford (2lb 2oz).
SIMON HOWL won Sunday’s Throckmorton AC match with 23lb 13oz of chub. Second was Lewis with 18lb 10oz (dace), third was Rippington with 10lb 5oz and section winners were Mick Keen (10lb 5oz), Neil Rutter (9lb 9oz) and Street (9lb 9oz).
