ST BEDE’S Catholic Middle School pupil Caitlin Hodson has a spring in her step after winning a superb six medals at the National Jump Rope and Masters Championships.
Year seven’s Caitlin, representing her club Jump Rope UK, competed against teams from England, Scotland, Belgium, Germany and Hungary in both speed, freestyle and double dutch disciplines.
It was a tiring two-day event for Caitlin but she was fully rewarded for her efforts as she clinched two gold, three silver and one bronze medal.
The dedicated youngster will now turn her attentions to working hard in preparing for the World Championships in Norway next July when she will be part of the British team.
