A FINE sum of £600 was raised for Birmingham Children’s Hospital as 400 spectators watched ‘Fight Time At The Valley’, writes Will Scarle.
Seven boxing matches were staged at Redditch United Football Club, where fans also enjoyed bingo, a raffle and other entertainment.
Another boxing show is likely to be staged in early December, hoping to once more raise a lot of money for charity.
Organiser Tim Piper, who hailed the event as a “big success”, would like to send his thanks to all fighters and Redditch United FC.
