Boxing club offers excellent volunteering opportunity

THRIVING Redditch Community Amateur Boxing Club is on the lookout for a skilled volunteer to play a vital role in helping to maintain the club’s fine work across the town and surrounding areas.

This community interest company supports local people using boxing, martial arts and sports recreation as a vehicle for social change and community integration and is seeking an experienced volunteer with a desire to help people.

Sarah Lee, director of the Matchborough Centre-based club, said: “This fantastic venture is growing from strength to strength in its vision, supporting the people of Redditch with positive lifestyle choices and bringing about that much-forgotten sense of community and we are looking for a skilled volunteer with a desire to help people that can assist with our mission.

“Have you got what it takes to be a director in business management and fund-raising to work closely with the founding director?




“This role will entail supporting the community-interest company in its infrastructure and implementing good business practice into the organisation of and supporting bids and sponsorship for required funding.”

Required skills and attributes include previous experience in business management, previous experience in finance management or human resources, the ability to work individually and as part of a team and motivation to move the business forward in its mission.
