DARK Lane Angling Club’s Saturday match on the River Arrow at Alcester featured a 14-strong field topped by Keith Jones with 15lb 2oz.
Runner-up was Tony Lockett with 11lb 4oz and third was Mick Keen with 10lb 9oz.
Barry Feldhahn was fourth (10lb 1oz), Pete Lewis fifth (5lb 5oz), Bob Dean sixth (5lb 2oz) and Dave Gibbs seventh (4lb 7oz).
THE NEEDLES AC contest the following day on the River Alne at Great Alne was attended by 15 anglers and won by Glyn Blewett with 4lb.
Jack Dean was second with 3lb 15oz and Pete Lewis third with 3lb 3oz.
Section winners were Andy Farmer (2lb 14oz), Barry Blewett (2lb 8oz) and John Rushworth (1lb 13oz).
