Redditch Editorial 12th May, 2020   0

TWO online Zoom sessions have been organised for anyone interested in becoming a foster carer in Worcestershire.

Organised by Worcestershire Children First Fostering (WCFF) through the County Council, they will give anyone considering being a foster carer inside information on what is involved.

The first session is today, Tuesday, May 12 from 3pm, with the second taking place a week later on Tuesday, May 19 from 6pm.

On the call, there will also opportunities to chat to current foster carers, who can speak first hand about their experiences.

Councillor Andy Roberts, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Children and Families said: “We know that making the decision to foster is a huge step.

“Worcestershire Children First Fostering aims to guide you and support you as you make one of the biggest, yet most rewarding decisions anyone can make.

“We’re so grateful for all that our current foster carers continue to offer to children in Worcestershire, and the fantastic memories that continue to be made.

“We’re always looking to expand our network of foster carers. If fostering is something you have always thought about but never taken the first step, our online sessions are the perfect place to start.”

For more information on joining the meetings online email Susan Fletcher at [email protected] or call direct on 01905 844129.
