Woman pedestrian airlifted to hospital following Jill Lane incident

A WOMAN walking along Jill Lane in Sambourne has been seriously injured in an accident involving a car.

West Midlands ambulance Service said the alarm was raised at 7.23am this morning, Friday, October 25, and they responded immediately sending an air ambulance with a doctor on board from RAF Cosford to the scene just off the A448 The Slough road.

Meanwhile a land ambulance with paramedics on board was also sent to the scene.

There they found the woman seriously injured in the collision.




She was airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

An ambulance service spokesman said the male driver of the car was assessed at the scene and discharged.


Jill Lane, the B4092 runs between The Slough and the A441 Evesham Road at Astwood Bank.
