A WOMAN is currently being treated by ambulance staff on the M5 after she was involved in crash with a HGV lorry earlier today (Tuesday).
The emergency services were called to junction 4a of the motorway at 11.45am and there is currently a fire engine at the scene along with the ambulance and paramedic officer.
The M5 southbound is currently closed whilst the scene is being cleared. It is not yet known how extensive the woman’s injuries are but she was not trapped in the vehicle when paramedics arrived.
