REDDITCH police are appealing for witnesses after an assault is reported to have taken place in Fever nightclub between 2.15am and 2.50am on July 28.

A woman in her 20s is believed to have been assaulted near a booth on the dance floor by another woman in her 40s who has a medium build and dark shoulder-length hair.

The woman in her 40s was wearing a white top and black shoes.

She may also have been talking with door staff after being ejected from the club, which can be found on Market Place.

The staff are continuing to support police with their investigation.

Officers would like to speak with a man who was stood nearby in a bright coloured top as he may be an important witness to the incident.
