A COMMUNITY hub providing learning opportunities, training and personal development has reopened in Redditch.

The Old Needle Works Foundation, based on Britten Street, offers a range of key services for residents in the town.

One of its most popular is its wellbeing programme, which sees qualified coaches provide one-to-one therapy for people of any age.

It has been running successfully for years, helping many people to turn their lives around.

There is also BENS Groups, known for unparalleled commitment to supporting children in developing independence and communication skills.

CEO Elaine Grant said: “We were creative in supporting people remotely during the pandemic and now we are excited to offer face- to-face support again.

“The hub is passionate about providing opportunities for people to improve skills and to learn something new in a supportive environment.

“We offer a range of courses including Maths, English, IT as well as creative and crafting courses.

“We also hold mindfulness, meditation, exercise and healthy eating classes.”

In addition, the hub offers rooms and units for local charities and businesses with a similar social mission to set up and thrive.
