A SPECIAL visitor from the North Police dropped in on Matchborough in time for the Community Christmas lunch there.
Santa made an early stop to personally give Christmas wishes and presents to 80 VIPs at the event in Christchurch.
Guests including the chair of Worcestershire County Council Councillor Anne Hingley and they were all served a two course turkey dinner by children from Ipsley Middle School and RSA Arrow Vale.
Entertainment was by provided by choirs from Matchborough first and Ipsley Middle schools.
The event was funded by divsional funds from county councillors Tom Baker-Price, Juliet Brunner, Jane Potter and Roger Bennett.
Morrison’s supermarket also chipped in with a discount.
Coun Brunner said: ”There are so many people who help make days like this so very special for our senior members. I’m so very proud to be part of this community.”
