Vandals spark anger among Studley community

Redditch Editorial 28th Oct, 2017   0

“Mindless, senseless vandals” – that’s what the people of Studley think of the criminals who destroyed a gateway planter in their village this week.

The planter, which was on the A435 by Studley Cricket Club, was knocked over and smashed by vandals, and was discovered on Sunday morning (October 22)

A spokesperson for Studley in Bloom said: “We are sorry to have to report that our gateway planter on the A435 by Studley Cricket Club has been broken.

“We have managed to temporarily repair it but will have to buy a new planter, costing us around £90.

“This was a deliberate act – it took four of us to lift and move the planter and salvage a few of the plants. If anybody has any information please come forward.”
