TUCK in and help raise vital sums for war ravaged Ukraine at The Great Breakfast for Ukraine at Feckenham Village Hall this Saturday, April 23 from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
On offer say organisers is a slap up breakfast everyone can enjoy with every penny raised going to help those fleeing the war.
Spokesman Ian Bellion said: “All of us have been appalled by the tragic scenes we’ve seen on our televisions.
“All of us have felt helpless in the face of such horror.
“Many of us have made donations to help the people made homeless and displaced or given items to be taken to the people in need.
“Now all you need to do is come along and enjoy!
“For £10 you’ll get a bowl of cereal, fruit juice, a Full English (bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, etc), toast… and as much coffee or tea as you can drink.
“A vegetarian option will be available. Bucks fizz will be on offer for those who need a kick start.”
Village businesses are pitching in too.
The Village Shop is sponsoring the event by paying for the food, and the coffee is being donated by The Rose & Crown – so every penny spent will go to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
“There’ll be a raffle with fantastic prizes (all donated) and Feckenham bakers will be offering cakes for sale so that breakfasters have something to take home for tea,” said Ian.
The organisers would be particularly pleased if people booked in advance.
Three time bands are being offered:
Early Birds – from 8.30am to 9.30am
Gentle Starters – from 9.30am to 11am
Sleepy Heads – from 11am to 12.30pm.
Tickets are on sale at The Village Shop and the Rose & Crown, online at feckhall.org and by phone on 0333 666 3366.
