IT WILL take mothers-to-be more than half an hour to get to a maternity ward now that the Alexandra Hospital has closed the doors on its unit.
Our reporter Lauren Jeal set off form Redditch to find out what kind of journey people will have to make to get to Worcestershire Royal by car. It took more than 30 minutes in clear traffic outside rush hour.
