Time capsule from Redditch's demolished Methodist Church goees on display

THE contents of the time capsule uncovered following the demolition of the old Methedist Church on Evesham Road at Headless Cross have gone on display.

Contents include a written history of the church, photographs of the collapsed previous church on the site, fishing hooks, a book on the history of Methodism in Redditch pre-1897, a Redditch directory and more.

It will also be possible to read the contents of all the documents as the Redditch Historical Society have recorded and printed copies of each.

It is currently on display at The Bridge Church, (formerly St Lukes) on Evesham Road on Thursdays August 4 and August 11 from 10am to 12noon and Fridays August 5 and August 12 from 10am and 12noon and from 7pm to 8pm.




Members of the public are welcome at these times to view what is a unique collection.
