Three cheers for hoppy blonde ale - on offer at micropub near Redditch

A BRAND new beer named after the three women who helped create it is about to launch at Alestones in Tardebigge.

“Triple S Blonde” – a hoppy blonde ale – is named after three members of the Alestones team, Sue, Sara and Sarah, who helped brew the initial batch at the Woodcote Manor Brewing Co. in Bromsgrove.

The beer is set to be officially launched at Alestones pub in Tardebigge Court next Thursday (September 14) when the bar will be open from 5pm till 9pm, and Woodcote’s master brewer Will Taylor will also be on hand to chat about the brew.

The beer will also be at a very special price for this evening.

Adrian Stone, landlord and owner of the micropub, said: “We’re really excited to be launching this beer – and the girls are too. It’s a beautiful blonde ale, with a hoppy taste and aroma and it will hopefully be a permanent addition to the pumps.

“We always aim to offer the very best in beer and cider from both local and nationwide producers. But they are always small breweries and always kept in perfect condition.”

The tasty tipple should also be available during the “Biggefest” music festival, next Sunday (September 17) when a full day of music from 12 local bands will keep ale drinkers and music enthusiasts entertained, with all ticket sales going to Macmillan Cancer Care.

The family run micro-pub specialise in beers from small brewers and ales in the local area, along with Farmhouse ciders and wine.
