AN ALVECHURCH family targeted by thieves trying to steal valuable motocross bikes are warning others to be wary.
At around midnight on December 11, two men broke into the family’s garage by smashing a glass door.
The homeowners, woken by the noise, went outside and confronted the criminals as they attempted to steal the bike.
The would-be thieves ran off and were seen to be picked up by a black 4×4.
The victims are now warning people of the threat as they believe the thieves were deliberately seeking out those who take part in motocross and who own bikes which can cost thousands of pounds each.
