THE Redditch Climate Action Network group will host a free community screening of the documentary ‘The Race is on: Secrets and Solutions of Climate Change’ on Friday, January 31, at 6.30pm in the Ecumenical Centre in Evesham Walk in the town centre.
Free refreshments will be provided followed by a chat and the chance to talk to the film’s director Paul Maple who will be available via Skype to answer questions.
The film won ‘Best Science Communication’ at the International Science Film awards at Athens last year and the documentary tells viewers why we must act before January 1, 2040 – leaving Redditch just 19 years, 11 months and one day from the screening to do something.
