BIG-HEARTED members of Wythall’s Taekwondo club have more than smashed their fund raising target for Acorns Childrens Hospice.
The club, in Shawhurst Lane, held a martial arts day a fortnight ago, performing more than 700 manouevres in the process.
Set a target of £500 by Geoff and Julia Heath, the husband and wife team who run the club, at the last count they were well on their way to doubling that total.
The club, Wythall and Hollywood Taekwondo, is based at Coppice Junior & Infants School and has raised thousands of pounds for Acorns since it started supporting the charity.
