Support Redditch network now delivers food parcels as far as Studley and Beoley

THE Support Redditch network is to continue delivering food parcels through this third lockdown – with its range extended to include Studley and Beoley.

The volunteer-run group started up deliveries back in November to support the most vulnerable families in Redditch through winter.

Mike Rouse, the Borough Councillor who helps run the service said: “We originally planned to end our food parcel service at some point in January if the pandemic was starting to ease, but given the latest developments we will now continue to March 2021 at the earliest.

“Food parcels can be claimed by anyone in the area by completing an eligibility questionnaire at http://bit.ly/srfp21

“We can also confirm that the Charity Commission has authorised a change to our boundaries meaning we can now serve Studley, Beoley and the areas just outside of, but close to, Redditch.”

Support Redditch is continuing to work with partner organisations like Redditch East Stronger Together (REST) and are cross-referring to each other.
