Support online 'charity shop' in Redditch

Redditch Editorial 14th Aug, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

TWO Redditch residents have launched an online ‘charity shop’ and are looking for donations.

Sharon Fitzpatrick and partner Robin Day are fundraising for the Stroke Association and Blind Children UK by selling donated items on Facebook and eBay and are hoping local people will support them.

The charities are very close to the couple’s hearts as Sharon, from Woodrow has suffered around 120 mild strokes throughout her life and Robin, aged 46, has nystagmus myopia – a condition which badly affects his sight.

43-year-old Sharon said: “My partner and I are both disabled in our own ways and we wanted to do something for charities which were important to us.”

The duo have a PayPal account and will split the money generated by their sales between the chosen charities via JustGiving.

Donations of good quality items are appreciated and people can get in touch by emailing [email protected] or calling 07555627786
