Studley and Alcester in 2030 - district asks for peoples' 10 year vision

RESIDENTS of Alcester and Studley will have a chance to shape the future of Stratford district as the local authority prepares a new Council Plan for the next four years.

The invitation is open to all residents, local businesses, parish and town councils, voluntary groups and partners as the district council begins a consultation.

“Since the elections in May, the district council has been working with key stakeholders to produce a set of aspirations and outcomes that aim to have a positive impact on residents, communities and businesses in the district,” said Councillor Daren Pemberton, deputy leader of the authority.

“These actions will complement the wider vision for the district as a place by 2030.

“Obviously in setting this long term vision the views of the public are important.”

The authority is currently consulting on the following themes:

1) Working on regional, national and international stages

2) Enhancing the quality of place

3) Responding to the climate emergency

4) Putting residents, businesses and communities centre stage
