The Barchester Care Awards celebrate the staff who go the extra mile for the benefit of the 12,000 residents living in Barchester’s 248 care homes and private hospitals across the country.

Aggie Szalinsk Dutkowiak, winner of the award said:” I want to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for all your kind words and ongoing support.

“I’m very grateful for the recognition and honoured to achieve such an important award.”

More than 2,900 nominations were received from homes and hospitals across the UK.

All entries were a very high standard and Aggie Szalinsk Dutkowiak is over the moon to have been named the national winner, beating hundreds of other nominees to the coveted title.

Aggie Szalinsk Dutkowiak win was announced at a special national award ceremony which took place on October 13 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Barchester’s many exemplary staff members who have all witnessed first-hand the hardest 18 months in the history of social care.

General Manager, Debbie Osborne said: “This is an amazing achievement and the whole home is so proud of her and her hard work and dedication.

“She is such an important member of the team and Cherry Trees wouldn’t be the same without her.”
