SEVERAL schools in the Redditch area will have a staggered opening tomorrow as they get to normal following the weekend’s heavy snowfall and the freezing temperatures of yesterday and today (Tuesday, December 12).
These are:
Inkberrow First School which hopes to open at 9.30am. with Christmas service at 9.45am for those who can get in safely.
Meadow Green Primary School, Wythall: School will reopen with a staggered start
Registers will open from 8.45 and close at 10.00. No breakfast club tomorrow. Walking to school recommended or car share and park well away from school.
Pitcheroak School , Redditch will be closed due to health and safety reasons.
St Georges CE First School, Redditch: The school says St. George’s Road, Grange Road and Beoley Road are passable with care. However, Stevenson Avenue is still hazardous. Registration open until 10am. See school website for more details.
Tardebigge CE First School, Redditch: Registration will be from 8:45-10.15. All children to bring a packed lunch tomorrow. Pick up from 2:30. Please see website for more details.
Tenacres First School, Redditch: School will be open to children from 10am with gates opening from 9.45am
The Beacon Primary PRU, Redditch: Both sites will be open to pupils from 10am. If following tomorrows risk assessment the decision needs to be reversed this will allow time for to contact parents.
