FECKENHAM’S popular Scarecrow Weekend will return to the The Square this Saturday and Sunday after a two-year break.
Villagers have been busy making costumes to wear in this year’s parade, which runs between 11.30am and 4.30pm on both days.
Organiser Marion Chute said: “It will be a great experience for all the family before winter takes out all the fun of being outdoors.”
As well as the parade there will also be a ‘Scarecrow Trail’ and the return of the ‘Scarecrow Best Dressed Competition’ for visitors to enjoy.
Maps given out on the day will be free of charge.
There will be free parking at Winfields Superstore, Astwood Lane, B96 6HQ.
