A VILLAGE is putting on a sequel to its successful venture last year to raise money for people who suffer from tinnitus.
Tea for Tinnitus is on Saturday, September 21 in Abbots Morton village hall, near Inkberrow and takes the form of a drop-in brunch of bacon and Lashford sausage sandwiches, with teas, coffees and slices of cake and biscuits and a raffle.
“Tinnitus is a debilitating hearing condition which permanently affects one in ten people,” said Melanie Clarke, chair of the village hall committee.
“Some get ringing in the ears, others get buzzing, crackling, whooshing noises. It’s really awful for them.
“Last year we raised £520 which we shared equally between the British Tinnitus Association and our village hall funds and we hope that we will do even better with T4T2.”
Entry to T4T…2 is free and it runs from 11am to 1pm.
