CHILDREN of Redditch who have not yet had the chance to see Santa and his sleigh will find him making a special extra stop in Redditch town centre next week.
Redditch Round Table members have announced that they will be in Church Green on Wednesday, December 20, from 5.30pm after snow and ice put a stop to several of the planned runs this year.
Families are invited to come along between 5.30pm and 6pm to say “Hello” to jolly old Saint Nick before they make their way down Birmingham Road towards the fire station.
Rory O’Neill, Chairman of Redditch Round Table, said: “While we try to get out to see as many of the town’s children as we can, this isn’t always possible.
“It is really difficult to cover every area of Redditch, and we really hope to see as many smiling faces as possible in the town centre before we head off for our penultimate Santa run.
“We are always happy to stop for people who come out to meet us, so come along and find us and we’ll make sure that Santa sees you.”
The money raised during the Christmas collection is all redistributed to local causes in Redditch.
